Zigzag

The ZIGZAG mechanical Prusik allows you to move efficiently in the tree, while maintaining the gestures specific to the classic Prusik pulley system.

The blocking chain provides precision and smoothness in movement. The pulley, mounted on a sealed ball bearing, allows you to easily take up the slack. Its use on double rope and single rope gives it excellent versatility.

The lower connection hole is fixed to ensure the alignment of the device along the worker's axis and to optimize handling.

• Intuitive handling:
  - identical gestures to those of the classic Prusik pulley system for immediate familiarity,
  - automatic locking of the device on the rope, when the blocking chain is deployed. 
• For efficient movement in the tree:
  - smooth and precise slack take-up, thanks to the release lever offering very high precision during movement. Adjusting the pressure on this lever allows the speed of movement to be modulated,
  - ease of taking up slack, thanks to the pulley mounted on sealed ball bearings and the wide, curved side plates,
  - fixed lower connection hole to ensure alignment of the device with the worker's axis and optimize handling. 
• Versatility of use:
  - can be used on doubled rope and also on single rope, thanks to the CHICANE accessory offering more braking on descent and the KNEE ASCENT foot loops facilitating ascents,
  - upper connection hole for the rope return when used on doubled rope or the additional CHICANE brake when used on single rope. It incorporates a flexible retaining ring allowing the connector to be positioned along the major axis,
  - secondary connection hole to add a ZILLON lanyard or connect a second system. 
• Durability:
  - steel construction to increase durability,
  - wide, curved side plates for better wear resistance. 
• Rope compatibility: 11.5 to 13 mm diameter. 
• ZIGZAG allows work in compliance with ANSI Z133 standard.
