The Zanskar boot combines Boreal's 40 years of expertise in leather craftsmanship and mountain footwear, along with the latest technologies in outsole design, to deliver the quintessence of what a versatile hiking shoe should be.
The upper is crafted from selected, very high-quality European leathers, 2.6mm thick. To suit every preference, it is available in full-grain leather or nubuck.
The Zanskar features a full rubber rand protecting the foot, and our Dry-Line® membrane lining system, completely waterproof and breathable, keeps your foot dry whatever the conditions. Working with natural leathers requires indispensable expertise.
At BOREAL, each hide is individually inspected to detect the slightest imperfections and hand-cut to ensure incomparable quality. The Vibram® Fuora Evo outsole is durable and provides extraordinary grip in all circumstances.
A notable feature of the Zanskar worth highlighting is our new midsole, whose upper section is made of EVA, designed to improve underfoot comfort. It is paired with our new outsole unit featuring an extra-cushioning insert at the heel and TPU torsion control at the metatarsal area, to protect your foot during long hikes and extended treks.
