The VOLTA GUIDE 9 mm rope offers the extreme lightness and compactness required for ultimate performance on rock faces, as well as the flexibility and most comprehensive hydrophobic treatment for mountaineering.
It benefits from the Guide UIAA Dry treatment, which gives it excellent moisture resistance, making it particularly suited for daily use in extreme conditions. Thanks to its grip and maneuverability, handling is made easier.
It is available in several lengths depending on the intended use, from 30 meters for classic mountaineering to 100 meters for long rock face routes.

- ClimbReady coiling: specific coiling method to make the rope ready to use. It prevents improper uncoiling by the user and increases longevity.
Perfect for technical alpinism and ice climbing, thanks to its excellent moisture resistance:
- Guide UIAA Dry treatment: complete hydrophobic treatment that keeps the rope dry, regardless of conditions and day after day. It meets the requirements of the UIAA Water repellent test standard (water absorption of less than 2%),
- Enhanced durability, thanks to the Guide UIAA Dry treatment,
- UltraSonic Finish: the core and sheath are bonded at their ends through an ultrasonic finishing process called UltraSonic Finish. It provides greater durability and prevents the rope ends from fraying.
Ease of use:
- Supple rope making coiling, handling loops and paying out through belay devices easier,
- 40-carrier braid for better control,
- EverFlex treatment: specific heat treatment that stabilises the fibres and makes the rope more uniform. It provides an excellent grip and consistent handling over time.
