VERSO is the lightest belay device in the Petzl range.

It works with all rope diameters: single ropes from 8.5 to 11 mm, half ropes from 7.1 to 9.2 mm and twin ropes from 6.9 to 9.2 mm.

Intuitive and easy to use, it allows you to belay a climber and perform rappel descents.

The specific design of the rope channel facilitates rope sliding through the device, while protecting it from wear.

• Suitable for all rope diameters:
  • compatible with single dynamic ropes from 8.5 to 11 mm,
  • compatible with half dynamic ropes from 7.1 to 9.2 mm,
  • compatible with twin dynamic ropes from 6.9 to 9.2 mm.
• Ease of use:
  • common technique, based on guiding the rope through the device and permanently keeping one hand on the brake side of the rope,
  • braking control, thanks to the V-shaped and grooved braking slots,
  • smooth rope glide through the device,
  • allows belaying a climber and performing rappel descents,
  • installation diagrams engraved on the belay device (for belaying and rappelling).
