Beyond functionality and high performance, as part of our Endless Promise® collection, the Vantage series offers a very distinct and essential advantage: it is designed to stay out of landfills, forever. Durable, adjustable and easily repairable, Endless Promise packs are intended to remain in use for as long as possible, but when they finally reach their limit, NEMO has taken responsibility for ensuring they can be fully recycled.
From this recyclability design challenge came two major material innovations. First, our new exclusive CERO™ fabric is woven from recycled yarns, has a tear resistance up to 2 times higher than the industry standard and is also up to 1.5 times more water-resistant than other bags on the market – perfect for unexpected showers! It is also made entirely from recycled (and recyclable) PET.
Likewise, instead of traditional non-recyclable foams for padding, we have introduced CCubed™, a recycled and recyclable material that avoids the harmful off-gassing seen with EVA. Furthermore, CCubed cushioning is composed of 97% air which, unlike foam, allows it to quickly wick away perspiration and help it evaporate.
Adapted to your body at your perspiration zones, the result is a noticeably drier and cooler pack experience, even during hot summer days.
We expect the Vantage to be on the move for a long time, but when it has completed its final journey, it can be returned to NEMO for complete recycling, avoiding any further waste and allowing it to become new gear for the next adventurer.
