It is compact and reasonably lightweight. Its insulation rating (R-Value) is 3.1 with the new ASTM F3340-18 standard. It is designed for 3-season use.
Its premium foam and 2.5 centimeters of thickness ensure comfort.
The Trail Scout is self-inflating; when the valve is opened, the open-cell foam automatically inflates.
A few additional breaths are enough to achieve the desired level of firmness. With its 75-denier fabric, it is less susceptible to punctures than lighter sleeping pads.
It is equipped with Thermarest's latest valve. The WingLock one-way valve allows for faster inflation and deflation.
