For your ultra races, as this housing is removable, replace it with the Silva "Long-distance Battery" of 4.0Ah offering 3 times more battery life. This battery-swapping modularity is ergonomic enough to perform without removing the lamp from your head.
A particularly useful feature for keeping your battery protected from the cold when not in use and for making quick changes.
Finally, weighing just 55 g on the scale (without battery) and with a soft headband fitted with a silicone strip, your headlamp stays in place and is literally forgotten you're wearing it.
