The battery housing is therefore positioned at the back of the head and allows the use of the Silva "Hybrid Battery" of 1.25 Ah. Included, it is suited for regular use, such as your morning or end-of-day training sessions. If needed, 3 AAA batteries can occasionally replace this battery.
For your ultra races, as this housing is removable, replace it with the Silva "Long-distance Battery" of 4.0Ah offering 3 times more battery life. This battery-swapping modularity is ergonomic enough to perform without removing the lamp from your head.
A particularly useful feature for keeping your battery protected from the cold when not in use and for making quick changes.
Finally, weighing just 55 g on the scale (without battery) and with a soft headband fitted with a silicone strip, your headlamp stays in place and is literally forgotten you're wearing it.
