H2No™ 3-layer fabrics are waterproof, windproof and breathable thanks to an innovative combination of elements: a water-repellent outer fabric, a laminated waterproof/breathable membrane and an ultra-lightweight inner fabric.
The whole is highly compressible, waterproof, windproof, breathable and designed to durably withstand extreme environments. H2No™ 3-layer fabrics are designed for prolonged use in extreme weather conditions
These fabrics are treated with a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish that repels light rain and snow. In addition to the waterproof/breathable membrane, the Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish prevents the fabric from becoming saturated with moisture so that the breathable membrane can function properly.
All H2No™ products are subjected to rigorous waterproofing tests during an extreme 24-hour wash cycle ("Killer Wash") that simulates years of use. This process involves exposing the fabric to extreme conditions for 24 consecutive hours in a modified washing machine.

Products meeting the H2No™ performance standard are subjected to the most rigorous tests in the industry. The H2No™ performance standard for waterproof garments is 20,000mm\* before washing and 10,000mm\* after the extreme wash cycle (in accordance with JIS L 1092 B test).
