Tick-Out Tick Remover

The Tick-Out Tick Remover, by Care Plus, is a pair of tweezers that allows you to remove ticks easily and safely.

Make sure to remove the tick within eight hours and thoroughly disinfect the bite area after removal to minimize the risk of infection.

Instructions for use:

• Grasp the tweezers between your thumb and middle finger and press with your index finger on the back part of the tweezers: this will cause them to open.
• Carefully place the tweezers on the tick – as close to the skin as possible – and then allow the tweezers to close.
• Turn slightly to the left, then slightly to the right, so that the tick partially detaches.
• Then pull the tick vertically from the skin with a few brief, careful movements.
• Disinfect the bite area and note the date of the bite in your diary.
