With the introduction of a 2-door PU version, it is not only suited for ultralight adventures and long-distance races, it also becomes the obvious choice for hikers looking for a solid and durable shelter that won't fill up their pack or hurt their back.
The Telemark 2.2 PU has the same construction as the original and legendary Telemark 2 ULW, ultralight and at a very attractive price. There are two main differences between the original and this 2.2 PU version.
Firstly, the delicate "weight is everything!" fabric is replaced by a sturdy rip-stop polyester, which will prove durable and reliable in all conditions. Secondly, an additional entrance has been added, to make getting in and out easier.
Let's be honest, it's essentially a night door that saves you from having to climb over each other in the night to go out for a pee.
Apart from that, Nordisk has retained all the excellent features of the classic Telemark: it is superbly ventilated, features easily adjustable guy ropes, a "quick-snap" magnetic door closure, interior pockets for storage, four canopy poles sewn on the inside and the ability to convert both outer doors into a cooking awning, using the two additional mini-poles and the extra guy rope included.
