• Hydro-formed shaft for a good grip thanks to its curved shape and technical design:
  
  • the shaft is curved in its upper part, providing good clearance distance when climbing,
  • the lower part is straighter and ensures effective penetration into the snow.
• Head and pick in hot-forged steel, ensuring solid anchors:
  
  • thin pick (3 mm), robust and serrated at the tip, ensuring good anchoring quality in hard snow and ice,
  • thicker pick in the center to improve grip in soft snow.
  • teeth on the upper part of the pick reinforcing the hold of the ice axe when used as a self-arrest tool,
  • robust stainless steel spike for excellent penetration in hard snow and when used as a walking stick.
• High resistance and practical features:
  
  • highly resistant steel adze offering a comfortable support surface with an edge design that allows steps to be cut effectively,
  • inclined adze to correctly guide the ice axe into the snow (walking stick use),
  • head and spike equipped with holes for attaching a carabiner or a sling,
  • high-quality aluminium shaft (7075 aluminium used in aeronautics), with anodized finish for excellent protection.
