Sm'D is a locking carabiner, compact and lightweight, in a D-shape.
It can be used in many situations, easy to handle even with gloves and available in two versions of locking systems.
Main features
- Great versatility:
- D-shape ensuring its effectiveness, regardless of the direction of use, to meet multiple needs: connection of belay systems, pulleys, at the end of a lanyard...,
- good compactness and very light weight.
- Good grip and ergonomics:
- D-shape promoting a good grip,
- H-section contributing to better grip with gloves,
- Keylock system to prevent any involuntary snagging of the carabiner,
- hole allowing a TIBLOC or MICRO TRAXION to be connected to the carabiner via a cord to make them captive.
- Available in two locking system versions suited to each situation:
- SCREW-LOCK: easy-to-open system, lockable or not according to the user's needs. A red visual indicator shows that the carabiner is not locked. This system is suited to harsh environments where impurities (mud, ice) could seize an automatic locking system,
- TWIST-LOCK: specific use where speed of opening is paramount (at the end of a lanyard for example) and for connecting a GRIGRI to the harness.
