Sitta Orange

Sitta (2024), from the brand Petzl, is a harness for demanding climbers and alpinists! It is the ultimate compromise between lightweight and comfort.

It is also very compact once stored in your backpack.

In climbing as in mountaineering, you are completely free in your movements, thanks to its extremely thin and flexible waistbelt.

Its five gear loops allow you to carry all the necessary equipment for ice or rock climbing.

With it, you can string together outings: its reinforced belay loops are designed to durably withstand rope friction.

• The best lightweight/mobility/comfort ratio:
  - extremely thin and flexible waistbelt and leg loops, thanks to WIREFRAME technology. HDPE (high-density polyethylene) wires integrated into the waistbelt and leg loops provide optimal load distribution without the use of foam. The extreme lightness and comfort make the harness virtually unnoticeable,
  - very compact when stored in its stuff sack,
  - permanently self-adjusting leg loops and highly flexible leg loop-to-belay loop connection providing total freedom of movement,
  - waistbelt equipped with a forged aluminium DOUBLEBACK HD buckle, allowing smooth sliding of the adjustment strap for easy and quick adjustment.
  
• Ability to carry a large amount of gear:
  - two very large rigid front gear loops for carrying plenty of equipment and facilitating clipping and unclipping. Each front gear loop features a movable divider to split the gear loop and optimise organisation (quickdraws, nuts, etc.). The divider can be folded back to create a single extra-large gear loop,
  - two semi-rigid rear gear loops that bring gear towards the front and are compatible with wearing a backpack,
  - a fifth semi-rigid, easy-access gear loop located at the back for a haul rope, shoes, knife, etc.,
  - two CARITOOL tool holder loops. The loops are optimised for use with CARITOOL EVO and compatible with CARITOOL.
  
• Enhanced durability:
  - HDPE-reinforced tie-in points for increased resistance to rope abrasion,
  - bonded construction of the waistbelt and leg loops providing optimal abrasion resistance while promoting compactness,
  - robust, abrasion-resistant outer fabric,
  - breathable inner fabric for effective moisture management and quick drying.
