Simple

Designed for caving, SIMPLE is an easy-to-handle descender.

It is used with semi-static ropes of 8.5 to 11 mm in diameter. With a compact size and reduced weight, it simplifies progress through narrow passages.

The lifespan of the device can be optimized by reversing or replacing the pulleys.

  • very easy to use. Descent speed is regulated by gripping the free end of the rope more or less tightly, 
  • rope installation diagram engraved on the descender, 
  • locking pawl on the openable side plate allowing easy rope installation, while keeping the device connected to the harness, which facilitates passing rebelays, 
  • long connection hole allowing the FREINO Z carabiner to be reversed, making the descender captive during transfers from the gear rack to the semi-round carabiner. 
  • compatible with semi-static ropes from 8.5 to 11 mm in diameter. 
• Lightweight and compact:
  
  • only 240 g, 
  • composed of two aluminum sheaves to prioritize lightness, 
  • clean design, to minimize the risk of jamming in narrow passages.
