Shoulder Straps Sequoia, by Petzl, are shoulder straps that complement your Sequoia or Sequoia Plus harness.
Padded, they allow you to take the load off the waist belt and distribute it comfortably across the shoulders.
Versatile, they transform into SRS chest mode to connect your ascent system.
In order to best adapt to your body shape, the sternal connection height is adjustable.
Main features
- Quick connection to the harness via shoulder straps:
- all three straps connect with Mino accessory carabiners (included),
- straps compatible with all types of arborist saddle harnesses.
- Comfort in use:
- the inside of the shoulder straps is padded to absorb the load from the waist belt and distribute it comfortably across the shoulders,
- the straps are kept away from the neck to minimise friction,
- the straps are equipped with adjustment buckles to adapt to your build,
- the chest strap is removable to make putting on and taking off the shoulder straps easier.
- Conversion to SRS chest mode:
- the shoulder straps can be converted into a chest harness, in order to connect and hold the ascent system at the top in SRS technique,
- connection of the ascent system to the chest strap via a Mino-type accessory carabiner (not included),
- three possible connection heights for ideal adjustment.
