The MSR Shock Cord Replacement Kit is an elastic cord (bungee cord) designed to thread through tent poles.

Over time, bungee cords wear out (through handling, cold, moisture, heat) and lose their elasticity. This kit allows you to replace the worn cordage in your tent poles.

Main features

The rope is made with a silicone core which has a longer lifespan than natural rubber. Silicone allows it to maintain elasticity even at negative temperatures (-40°C).
