The SALATHE LITE is 20% lighter than its bigger brother! It is the use of Curv® material instead of a classic ABS shell that has made it possible to reduce the weight.
Curv® is the latest generation of an extremely high-performance thermoplastic material. It has similar properties to fiber-reinforced composite materials such as carbon: good rigidity, high breaking strength and exceptionally high impact resistance – all at a very low weight.
Thanks to its ergonomic head-hugging shape, the SALATHE LITE fits perfectly without being too bulky, and its lowered design ensures optimal protection against impacts on the sides, as well as on the front and back of the head, in accordance with EN 12492 standard. The shape is specially designed for use with a ski goggle.
The SALATHE LITE features remarkable details for maximum comfort: the large ventilation openings ensure optimal airflow. The inner padding prevents any compression effect and absorbs perspiration. It can be removed for washing.
Well-designed and easy to use, the strap adjustment system guarantees a perfect fit and reduces weight and bulk to a minimum. The helmet is equipped with two clips at the front and an elastic band at the back, allowing any type of headlamp to be attached reliably and quickly.
