The Rook 50 features an ultra-adjustable ventilated back system with AirSpeed mesh suspended above a large cavity allowing airflow.

This design allows the body to conform to the shape of the hip belt and lumbar section of the backpack, for enhanced comfort and an even more stable and supported load carry.

Adjusting the shoulder strap height is highly intuitive thanks to the innovative vertical rail adjustment system. The Rook 50 adjusts quickly and easily to fit you perfectly. To accommodate a wider variety of back lengths, these packs are equipped with load lifter straps on the shoulder straps that ensure comfort regardless of the pack's position.

A wide, ultra-padded hip belt provides a pleasant feel on the hips and assists with carrying heavier loads.

The Rook includes all the essential features for multi-day touring trips; a generous volume with access via the top lid and the lower sleeping bag compartment.

An internal divider provides a separate lower compartment and can be removed when not in use. Multiple compression straps ensure the stability of the backpack without compromising access to the mesh water bottle pockets.

The two hip belt pockets and the large top lid pocket with a key clip provide quick access to small items.

If needed, the Rook is compatible with Osprey's Daylite backpacks. You can attach the smaller pack to the larger one for extra volume, and use it as an optional pack for day trips while leaving your main backpack at the tent.
