Rig Standard Yellow

Rig Standard, by Petzl, is a descender adapted to the needs of experienced workers who work daily on rope and in difficult access situations. 

Compact and easy to use, it makes your working days easier, particularly thanks to its ergonomic handle which allows excellent control during descents. 

Its Auto-Lock function allows you to position yourself easily at the workstation without any manipulation. 

More resistant, the shape of its cam limits wear. 

In order to meet your intensive working conditions and uses, or simply for a more durable solution, Rig is also available in a repairable version.

• Ease of use:
  - simple and quick rope installation, thanks to guides and markings,
  - ergonomically designed handle that provides a good grip and excellent descent control,
  - easier passing of intermediate anchors, thanks to the openable mobile side plate that allows the device to remain connected to the harness,
  - device equipped with the Auto-Lock system, which allows positioning at the workstation without having to manipulate the handle or perform a locking hitch,
  - automatic return of the handle to the storage position when the rope is removed, reducing the risk of unintentional snagging of the descender when worn on the harness.
  
• Versatility of use:
  - two possible descent modes: on the side plate or in the V-groove, equipped with braking teeth, which provides better descent control and limits rope twisting,
  - device usable on the harness, but also at the anchor,
  - once the rope is locked, short ascents are possible without manipulating the handle, simply by pulling in the rope,
  - usable for belaying a lead climber in climbing technique.
  
• Durability and repairability:
  - protective reinforcement on the rope friction zone, which protects the mobile side plate from premature wear,
  - cam shape that improves rope pinching and thus limits device wear,
  - to make the choice of a more sustainable solution, or to meet intensive use and working conditions, Rig is available in a repairable version (Black or Yellow): you can replace the cam and pin, thanks to the repair kit (sold separately).
