To ensure good cushioning and a high level of comfort, the sole of the RENEGADE LL MID shoe is attached to the upper using a sophisticated injection moulding process.
To achieve this, the upper part of the shoe is placed in a specially designed mould: several layers of polyurethane foam are then injected into this mould, so that the sole becomes one with the upper.
The midsole of the RENEGADE LL MID model keeps the foot in place thanks to its LOWA MONOWRAP® structure, for optimal comfort. This three-dimensional midsole design was developed by LOWA in 1995: the structure wraps around the foot and supports it on uneven terrain.
For shoes equipped with a SUPPORT FRAME, the entire sole is slightly raised.
Featuring a two-zone lacing technology, the RENEGADE LL MID model includes separate lacing zones on the forefoot and the upper.
This allows the shoe to be individually adapted to the foot's anatomy and laced differently for ascents or descents.
