The PTARMIGAN2 pants are inspired by this: they stop rain and wind and retain body heat (over 30°C at the skin's surface).
To enjoy your favourite activity whatever the weather, here are the basics: layering.
- The first layer, known as the base layer, must be breathable, to wick moisture away from the body.
- The mid layer is insulating, helping to retain heat.
- The outer layer protects against the elements: waterproof, breathable, windproof.
PTARMIGAN2 belongs to this last category. By building your outfit around this system, you gain in comfort and versatility. During activity, you can remove the mid layer and put it back on when you stop. In short, layering is the foundation.
Care instructions:
To take care of your PTARMIGAN pants, machine wash them at 30°C with a standard detergent (not too much, and if it's eco-friendly, even better!). You don't need fabric softener or anything else (no bleach). Then, a gentle spin cycle and a normal rinse, followed by air drying.
