This is a versatile, powerful pull-cut saw for making precision cuts in dense vegetation or cutting large branches.
With the new Zübat Arborist, Silky truly meets all the needs of arborists.
The saw has an extra-large tooth pattern (5.5 teeth per 30 mm) that cuts quickly through soft and green wood, such as linden, poplar, or willow.
The Zübat Arborist is recognizable by its chromed screws and scabbard elements. Thanks to the third roller, the blade slides more easily into the scabbard.
The perfectly aggressive sharpening of the curved blade, combined with Silky's unique teeth, will deliver the speed, strength, and precision you need up in the tree.
Working with this saw is an absolute pleasure — you will find yourself setting aside your chainsaw more and more often.
Even after frequent use, the teeth will remain sharp for a long time, leaving a clean and smooth cut that promotes faster healing of the tree.
When working at heights above the shoulders or below the knees, you can still saw the top of a branch with a curved blade while keeping your arm, wrist, and hand in their natural position.
You work efficiently even in the most challenging circumstances. The shape of the blade tip helps the saw stay in the cut, allowing for greater control.
The blade and handle of this saw are crafted from a single piece, making it stable and perfectly balanced. The molded rubber coating on the handle provides a secure grip and absorbs all vibrations.
The name Zübat is derived from the sound a samurai sword makes when it strikes its target. Users of this saw will know why.
Main features
- The Zübat Arborist with extra-large teeth is designed for cutting soft and green wood. The Zübat series with large teeth is available in five blade lengths: 240 - 270 - 300 - 330 and 390 mm. The Zübat 330 is also available with fine teeth for cutting hardwood.
- Did you know that the blade is interchangeable with that of the Zübat telescopic pole saw? This clever feature allows you to use the saw as either a hand saw or a pole saw!
- Saws in the Zübat series come with a lightweight polypropylene scabbard with a detachable belt loop. The scabbard is fitted with three rollers to prevent damage from the teeth when inserting and removing the saw. The tip of the scabbard is open to ventilate the saw and allow sawdust to fall out.
- Genuine high-end Japanese steel.
- Designed for soft and green wood.
- The blade must be kept clean to maintain its efficiency. Resin dissolves with olive oil, a natural way to care for the blade. More aggressive solvents would damage the handle.
- After use, store the saw thoroughly dried and always kept in its scabbard away from moisture.
