The Gomtaro pruning saw is an essential tool in your equipment and is the user's first choice for pruning during the early years of tree growth.

The straight blade delivers an even cleaner and more precise cut than a curved blade. In addition, a straight blade is easier to use in tight spaces or close to the ground.

The fine teeth of this pull-cut saw are ideal for cutting hardwood, such as beech, oak and fruit trees. The fine teeth bite into the wood easily and will leave the cut of the tree extremely smooth, which will promote healing.

The tree will thank you for it! The notch is smaller than with a large-toothed Gomtaro, creating less resistance during cutting and damaging fewer wood cells. The fine-toothed Gomtaro is the choice to make when quality of work takes priority over speed.

If you are using Silky for the first time, be aware that this saw is sharpened like a razor blade! The rubber-coated handle is comfortable and absorbs vibrations.

You will find that your forearm and the saw are in perfect harmony. If you use this saw alongside the large-toothed Gomtaro, it is easily recognisable by its silver bolts.

During the ascent you will not always be in very comfortable positions, but the Gomtaro will not let you down. The scabbard is designed so that the saw stays in place in all positions, and can also be removed with one hand.

• The fine-toothed Gomtaro is suitable for cutting hardwood and is available in four blade lengths: 240-270-300 and 330 mm. The large teeth are recommended for cutting green wood and six blade lengths are available: 180-210-240-270-300 and 330 mm.
• Blades of the same length are interchangeable, making it a multi-purpose saw!
• Gomtaro series saws come with a lightweight polypropylene sheath with a detachable belt loop. The sheath is fitted with two rollers to prevent the sharp teeth from damaging it.
• The tip of the sheath is open to ventilate the saw and to allow sawdust to escape.
• Genuine high-end Japanese steel.
• The blade must be kept clean to maintain its effectiveness. Resin dissolves with olive oil, a natural way to care for the blade. More aggressive solvents would damage the handle.
• After use, store the saw fully dried and always kept in its sheath away from moisture.
