The flexible protection PROTEC PLUS is designed to protect, thanks to its aramid construction, a fixed rope from a particularly abrasive or hot friction zone, during work at height or rescue operations.
Easy to install and versatile, PROTEC PLUS is suitable for all professional rope diameters, as well as anchor slings.
Main features
- Flexible aramid protection for fixed rope, offering better resistance and durability:
- three times more abrasion resistant than standard PROTEC protection,
- twice as resistant on sharp edges as standard PROTEC protection,
- protects the rope during brief exposure to a heat source such as heating pipes (1),
- protects the rope during accidental passage of a blowtorch flame (2).
- Easy to install:
- opening and closing made easier by magnets, operable with gloves,
- good grip on the retaining clip for quick and easy placement on the rope.
- Versatile:
- can be used in both directions, clip at the top or clip at the bottom,
- suitable for various professional rope diameters,
- also allows protection of an anchoring sling of the CONNEXION type.
