During your winter ascents, you will appreciate the snow-repelling fabric on the back panel, the side ski carriers and the ToolLock™ system for quickly and easily attaching ice axes.
If a harness is worn, the hip belt can be stowed inverted or removed completely. The main access to the contents of the Mutant 22 is through a reverse zipper opening at the top of the pack.
This allows you to load the backpack like a bucket designed to hold all your gear. The top compression strap is located under the lid and can also be used to secure a rope.
A mesh pocket is also located under the top lid for storing your keys and personal items. Whether you are climbing rock faces in summer or ice falls in winter, the Mutant 22 will be your ideal climbing partner.
