The Mundaka from Tenaya is a precise climbing shoe designed to provide balanced support on the tip of the toe. It will work wonders in bouldering, and will also allow you to perform effortlessly in friction or on edges and micro-holds.
Tenaya's proprietary Draxtor® lacing system offers very precise and uniform adjustment. The midsole is flexible, giving the shoe excellent performance in heel hooking and better overall flexibility.
The main objective of the Mundaka project was to create a cambered shoe with maximum precision and sensitivity. Very aggressive yet balanced, the Mundaka delivers maximum performance on overhangs but won't let you down when you need friction on a slab. The Mundaka is the widest cambered shoe in Tenaya's lineup. Its advanced construction minimizes pressure on the toes while maximizing power transmission.
The Mundaka is built on the same last as the Oasi or Iati. They therefore feature the RB Range X, SXR dynamic and Draxtor foot-tightening and support technologies. The Mundaka was created for performance and comfort. There is no compromise!
