The Mega Jul is the most versatile belay system in the Edelrid range. Built asymmetrically, in stainless steel for maximum durability and strength, it remains lightweight!
Quick and easy to set up, the rope simply follows the path for belaying. Good braking, but you can, if you wish, let the rope run faster by keeping the device open with your thumb.
Like all reversible belay plates, it is equipped with two braking grooves for half rope belaying and rappelling, as well as a small eyelet to give slack to the second when belaying from an anchor.
This kit includes the Mega Jul belay device along with the Bulletproof carabiner, which is perfectly suited for use with the Mega Jul belay device.
For ropes with a diameter ranging from 7.8 to 10.5 mm.
