Lyra III Extreme Footprint

Lyra III Extreme Footprint, from the brand Exped, is a mat to be placed under the tent, thus protecting the ground from abrasion and dirt. 

It has the same shape as the base of the tent, but it is slightly smaller to prevent rain from seeping between the tent floor and the footprint.

This practical groundsheet attaches very easily directly to the tent and stakes using elastic straps. In the vestibule, the Footprint provides protection like a mat, helping to reduce dirt inside the tent. In addition, it reduces moisture build-up caused by condensation.

A footprint can also be used as a tarp to provide protection from rain, wind and sun.
