The ruins of its feudal castle dating from the 11th century dominate the town and give it a particularly picturesque character.
A small commercial street runs through it and attracts quite a few passers-by.
An economic activity zone has been created on the Vecmont plateau in order to diversify its assets.
La Roche stoneware consists of artisanal pottery painted with cobalt blue and salt-glazed. A museum dedicated to them can be found in the town.
This tradition was initiated by Henri Hoffman in 1836. The Kalb family continued the activity from 1878 onwards.
Activities abound: numerous mountain biking and hiking trails, gourmet restaurants, hotels, kayaking and all kinds of accommodation.
