Griffin 10 Universal, by Blue Ice, is an ultra-versatile 10-point crampon with universal binding, designed for mountaineering and ski touring – the lightest and best-performing in their category.
These crampons are designed for glacier travel, classic alpine climbing and ski touring, delivering performance and safety across a wide range of alpine terrain.
They are compatible with all mountaineering boots, with or without rear welt, but are not compatible with ski boots.
Their 10-point configuration provides excellent stability when walking on hard snow and front-pointing on ice.
The Griffin range stands out with its innovative adjustment system: it allows for both very simple and precise fitting of the crampon to the boot, while its sliding collar (patent pending) ensures maximum security.
Another major innovation: the 3D shape of the front and rear rails. Made from steel just 2 mm thick, they ensure ultra-efficient penetration into snow and ice. The result: significantly improved traction and enhanced stability on technical terrain.
