Going solo doesn't necessarily mean having to suffer with a tiny tent and an overloaded backpack.
The FreeLite, ultralight and semi-freestanding, is designed for people who want to lighten their pack without sacrificing the volume or features of their tent and make the most of their three-season adventures.
The interior: The floor remains rectangular (no tapering at the feet like most other tents) and the interior height is 1 meter (39 in) (3 in gained), but it has shed 170 grams (6 oz) compared to the previous version of the one-person FreeLite.
The waterproof bathtub-style floor protects against the elements, and the fine mesh tent body ensures excellent ventilation. The tent door is not curved. The new zippers are more robust and can be easily operated with one hand.
Additionally, they end up in the same spot when closed: you always know where to reach to open the door, even in the dark. New convenient pockets for electronic gear feature corner cord ports.
The hanging storage spaces are perfect for your headlamp, glasses, and other items you want to keep within reach.
The exterior: The semi-freestanding design allows for quick and easy setup. Super-strong DAC NFL tent poles, DuraShield™ waterproof coating, and sealed seams provide protection from the elements.
The cutaway double-wall design saves weight. It features a large vestibule to store everything you don't want to keep inside. The vestibule door allows for easy entry and exit, and features a StayDry™ gutter that prevents water from dripping on you and your gear.
In short: The FreeLite 1 semi-freestanding one-person tent provides the comfort you need after a long day on the trail, at a weight you'll barely notice.
