Flyer, by Nemo, is a self-inflating sleeping pad now offering increased cushioning while maintaining its remarkably compact size and weight. 

Combining the thickness of an inflatable pad with the plush durability of a foam mattress, the Flyer guarantees optimal comfort on the trail.

Designed using a revolutionary manufacturing method that eliminates nearly 60% of the foam, the pad self-inflates to increase its thickness and create a system of rigid baffles promoting faster recovery after an intense day in the mountains. 

Each horizontal foam channel is hollowed out to reduce weight and provide progressive suspension for comfortable compression. The baffles are connected by solid foam for uniform support and to prevent any sagging. 

The latest update incorporates a peripheral air baffle. By removing foam around the perimeter, Nemo was able to increase the thickness of the zone between each baffle without adding weight to the pad. The result: a more comfortable Flyer, with the same size and same weight!

Although the Flyer pad self-inflates, it now comes with a stuff sack that also doubles as an inflation bag. This hybrid Vortex™ bag connects to the pad's Laylow™ valve and allows for faster inflation or simply to firm up the surface to your preference, without introducing moisture. (As a bonus, the roll-top bag can also serve as a dry bag!)
