EXO AP HOOK is an individual evacuation system, with HOOK anchoring hook, adapted to configurations where the possibility of finding an anchor point is uncertain.
It features a self-braking system with anti-panic function to move quickly horizontally, pass through a window, control and stop the descent. If the user pulls too hard on the handle, the anti-panic function brakes, then automatically stops the descent.
EXO AP HOOK also includes an abrasion and high-temperature resistant rope, an Am'D connector with CAPTIV bar, as well as a bag to carry and attach the system directly to the harness. Other rope lengths and other types of connectors (EASHOOK OPEN...) are available on special order.
Main features
- HOOK mooring hook, versatile and suited for configurations where the possibility of finding an anchor point is uncertain. It can be used in two ways:
- around a structure, secured by a locking loop,
- on a window ledge, as a last resort.
- Self-braking system with anti-panic function for:
- moving quickly horizontally,
- crossing through a window,
- controlling and stopping the descent: if the user pulls too hard on the handle, the anti-panic function brakes, then automatically stops the descent,
- limiting the shock sustained by the user in the event of a fall.
- 15 m static aramid fiber rope, 7.5 mm in diameter, resistant to abrasion and high temperatures.
- Am'D connector with CAPTIV bar to help keep the connector in the correct position and secure it to the device.
- Fire-resistant bag for transporting and attaching the system directly to the harness.
- Available in other rope lengths and other types of connectors (EASHOOK OPEN...) on special order.
