Eject

Designed for pruning, the EJECT false crotch allows a working rope to be installed while protecting the tree, even in tight forks.

It offers several installation configurations on one or two branches and features an adjuster for precisely setting the length of the false crotch. Rope ascents and movements through the tree are optimised, thanks to the high-efficiency pulley that promotes rope sliding at the anchor point.

The system is easily retrievable from the ground, thanks to the throw ball included.

In order to increase the safety of its products, Petzl is offering a preventive update for products purchased before 15 April 2025 (Link: Petzl - Professional). All products currently in stock at Lecomte have benefited from this update.

• Adjustable false crotch allowing a working rope to be installed while protecting the tree:
  • several installation configurations possible on the branch: wrapping or choking. It is also possible to couple two anchors for smaller branches, 
  • adjuster allowing precise adjustment of the sling length, 
  • specific design to protect the tree, 
  • product supplied with a highly visible yellow sling with a length of 1.5 m. The sling can be replaced or coupled with another 1.5 m or 2.5 m sling to extend the false crotch and allow work on larger trees, 
  • rope installation only possible if the false crotch is correctly installed and the openable attachment point is locked, 
  • the openable attachment point remains locked as long as the rope is installed in the pulley, 
  • preferential use on double rope. The system can also be used on single rope (more information in the technical manual). 
• Optimised efficiency:
  • optimised rope sliding at the anchor point, thanks to the integrated high-efficiency pulley, 
  • possible use by two people, in order to carry out a rescue. 
• System easily retrievable from the ground:
  • attachment point unlockable with the throw ball, once the rope is removed from the pulley, 
  • 21 mm yellow throw ball, specifically designed for the EJECT false crotch, for easier retrieval from the ground, 
  • sling and buckle slim enough to reduce the risk of the false crotch snagging in the tree.
