Does there exist on this planet a massif as fascinating, emanating such an impression of harmony between untouched nature, turquoise lakes straight out of a postcard, between the flora, the green of the alpine meadows, and the majesty of the summits, the steepness of the walls that spring from the scree fields in an insolent geometry?
A place where, after having walked above the void for hours, or even days, one rediscovers the sweetness of life just as quickly? As Pietro dal Pra writes: "On these walls, a culture of pure climbing has formed that has had no equal in the history of alpinism. Here were written the most intense chapters of alpine climbing, from the end of the 19th century to today."
Who has not dreamed before the achievements of Preuss, Dibona, Vinatzer, Cassin, Messner, and today Bole, Huber or Dal Pra? From this harmony linked to the sensation of enjoying an exceptional heritage, to the respect for the rock and its history, flows an intense pleasure in following in the footsteps of these pioneers, and why not in forging new ones.
In this paradise of climbing, every enthusiast will find their perfect fit, an adventure suited to their level, whether they belong to the order of fourth-graders or to the clan of mutants.

- Barney Vaucher discovered mountaineering at the age of fifteen in the Calanques. In the early 1970s, he was among the best climbers in Provence, alternating first ascents in various massifs (Bavella, Dévoluy, Dolomites, Hoggar, Karakorum, Verdon and of course the Calanques), with big wall routes in Yosemite, the Dolomites and the Mont-Blanc massif.
