CONTACT 9.8 mm is a single rope designed for indoor and outdoor climbing.

It benefits from an excellent compromise between lightness and durability for greater versatility.

Thanks to its excellent grip and manageability, handling and use of belay devices are made easier.

Its sheath thickness also contributes to its durability.

• Comfort of use:
  • supple rope making it easier to pay out slack in belay devices, 
  • EverFlex treatment: specific heat treatment that stabilizes the fibers and makes the rope more consistent. It provides excellent handling and lasting manageability over time, 
  • ClimbReady coiling: specific coiling to make the rope ready to use. It prevents incorrect unfolding maneuvers by the user and increases longevity. 
• Handling for easier manipulation:
  • very good weight/diameter/grip ratio, 
  • 40-carrier braid for better control, 
  • Middle Mark marking: indicates the middle of the rope to facilitate maneuvers. 
• Durability:
  • thick sheath offering excellent abrasion resistance, 
  • UltraSonic Finish: the core and sheath are bonded at their ends through an ultrasonic finishing process called UltraSonic Finish. It provides greater durability and prevents the rope ends from fraying.
