Connect Adjust, from the brand Petzl, is a simple and adjustable lanyard, designed for anchoring at a belay station, intended for climbers and mountaineers.
Its adjustable strand allows you to adjust the most suitable length for handling.
The slim harness connection loop frees up space on the belay loop.
Thanks to its ergonomic shape, the ADJUST locker offers simple and quick one-handed adjustment.
Main features
- Simple, adjustable and compact positioning lanyard, allowing you to connect to an anchor in climbing and mountaineering:
- adjustable lanyard from 15 to 95 cm,
- lanyard made of 9.0 mm dynamic rope to limit the force transmitted to the user in the event of a short fall (1),
- high-density polyethylene (HDPE) webbing connection loop sewn (Petzl patent) allowing the lanyard to be installed on the harness via a compact lark's head knot, reducing bulk on the belay loop and providing better visibility during anchor management.
- Ease of use:
- smooth and precise adjustment of the lanyard length, thanks to the ergonomic shape of the Adjust locker,
- easier clipping and unclipping, thanks to the Tanga rubber ring keeping the carabiner in the correct position in the Adjust locker,
- used with a locking carabiner of the Sm'D Twist-Lock type (not included),
- hole in the Adjust locker to thread a cord and facilitate release under load.
(1) Use below the anchor point: positioning lanyards do not have an energy absorber. These lanyards should therefore only be used if the risk of a fall results in a fall factor of less than 1.
