Cassira 2 Footprint

Cassira 2 Footprint, from the brand Exped, is a mat to be placed under the tent, thus protecting the ground from abrasion and dirt. 

It has the same shape as the base of the tent, but it is slightly smaller to prevent rain from seeping between the tent floor and the footprint.

This practical groundsheet attaches very easily directly to the tent and stakes using elastic bands. In the vestibule, the Footprint protects like a mat and thus helps reduce dirt inside the tent. In addition, it reduces the build-up of moisture caused by condensation.

A footprint can also be used as a tarp to protect against rain, wind and sun.
