This type of footwear must be comfortable for long approaches, compatible with crampons for crossing snowfields, and must also be precise for technical passages. The Brenta was designed to meet all of these criteria.
The upper is made of premium quality split leather 2.6mm thick, with strategically placed flexible textile sections to optimize comfort levels.
The lacing system extends very low down to the toes to ensure an incomparable quality of fit and perfect foot control on ascents. The foot is also protected by a rubber rand and PU coating. The Brenta is equipped with our Dry-Line® lining, which is completely waterproof and breathable, keeping your feet dry whatever the conditions.
It is compatible with semi-automatic crampons, allowing it to be used for crossing snowfields and glaciers, easy winter ascents, and all types of summer alpine routes. Although it is sufficiently rigid for crampon placement, the Brenta also proves effective on long-distance technical terrain.
The underfoot comfort of the Brenta is greatly enhanced by a special insole featuring an EVA layer on the surface, a cushioning section in the heel area, and TPU inserts to ensure torsional foot stability. The high-quality Vibram® New Mulaz sole features a climbing zone at the toe area and offers exceptional grip on all types of terrain.
