Studies conducted by sports podiatrists have shown that the onset of certain pathologies predominant in women, such as hallux valgus, were accelerated by wearing climbing shoes. Yet, nothing had been put in place to specifically address these issues. In this context, EB has sought to create a tool better suited to the needs of the female foot.
It adapts to the foot thanks to the quality of its materials, its specifically supportive midsole and its finishes. Designed and developed for female climbers, the Black Opium combines precision, comfort and efficiency.
With flawless and uncompromising steering assistance, the women's model in the EB range is a technical shoe enabling formidable precision for smearing and edging.
This climbing shoe is equipped with breathable Evo Microfiber and preserves foot health. On the sole side, the Black Opium is made with ultra-sticky DS-Max rubber in 4mm. The double velcro straps allow for precise tightening, perfectly wrapping the foot. The Black Opium women's shoe positions itself as a technical and comfortable shoe on all types of terrain.
The sole and the wrap of this climbing shoe, with its wide support band enveloping the foot, allows for the most extreme heel hooks without any risk of slipping off. The shoe also features 2 loops for carrying (attachment to harness) as well as for easier putting on.
