Asap Lock, by Petzl, is an essential accessory in your fall protection system.
It accompanies you in your daily work as a rope access technician in difficult-to-reach areas.
During normal use, while moving along the rope, the device travels freely without any need to handle it.
In the event of a fall or uncontrolled descent (beyond two metres per second), the device locks onto the rope and stops you.
The integrated Lock function allows you to immobilise the device to reduce your fall distance.
The connection arm makes passing rebelays easier by making your system captive, and the cams simplify rope installation.
To deal with rescue situations, Asap Lock is used in combination with the Asap'Sorber Axess energy absorber.
