The ANGE L carabiner sits as the intermediate between traditional solid gate carabiners and classic wire gate carabiners. It combines the smooth action of a spring-loaded gate with the lightweight design of wire gate systems.

Petzl's MonoFil Keylock technology and H-profile give the ANGE L carabiner a light weight of 34 grams and an optimal strength-to-weight ratio. As a result, it is particularly suited to climbers looking to reduce their load, while retaining the ergonomics of a standard-sized carabiner. The distinctive shape of its nose facilitates clipping and unclipping.
