Absorbica-Y Flex (150cm), by Petzl, is a double lanyard with compact energy absorber, designed for progression on a vertical structure or on a horizontal lifeline, with intermediate anchor passing.
It works for users between 60 and 140 kg.
It allows several connection modes to the harness and can accommodate different types of connectors.

- Designed for progression on a vertical structure or on a horizontal lifeline, with passage through intermediate anchors.
- Absorbs energy in the event of a fall:
- progressive tearing of the energy absorber webbing, limiting the shock force sustained by the user,
- works with users weighing between 60 and 140 kg (1).
- Designed for use with a maximum length, connectors included, of:
- 200 cm under CE EN 355 standard,
- 183 cm (6 feet) under ANSI Z359.13 standard.
- Minimal bulk:
- very compact energy absorber design so as not to hinder the user during handling,
- elastic webbing arms to avoid impeding progression.
- Pouch made of durable fabric, with a simplified opening system, to protect the energy absorber from abrasion and debris, while allowing periodic inspection of the absorber.
- Two installation options on the harness depending on use:
- frequent connections/disconnections: with a carabiner held in the correct position by a String keeper accessory (supplied with the lanyard),
- semi-permanent connection: with a Ring Open gated ring whose circular shape ensures optimal positioning.
- Two connector options at the end of the lanyard: carabiner or MGO Open large-opening connector.
