The Beastmaker 2000 offers numerous holds that allow you to specifically target your weaknesses and comfortably build strength across all the main hold types. Each hold has been carefully designed and rounded to minimize the risk of deviation. The wood texture won't damage your skin and provides enough grip to avoid frustration.
Wood is far superior to resin in terms of natural grip properties, porosity, and texture. Wood is by far the best training material currently available for finger strength, and the good news is that it grows on trees !
The beech, sourced from the EU, is of the highest possible quality and has the lowest carbon footprint we can achieve. The wood used comes from continuous cover forestry, a more environmentally friendly approach that does not deplete the canopy and environment unlike clear-cutting. Thanks to this process, combined with biomass kiln drying and a road transport network, beech is the lowest CO₂ hardwood we can reliably source. It is also one of the best wood species for crimping.
Beech is a slightly denser wood, with a darker color and a beautiful subtle grain that should be slightly more durable over a ten-year period.
