Rig Repairable Yellow

Rig Repairable, by Petzl, is a descender equipped with an ergonomic handle allowing you to comfortably control your descent. 

The Auto-Lock system allows you to position yourself, then stop very quickly, without having to manipulate the handle or perform a locking maneuver. 

Once locked, the rope can be taken up without having to manipulate the handle. 

Easy to get to grips with, this descender offers a simple and effective alternative to traditional descenders. 

Repairable, it is possible to replace the cam and pin to extend its lifespan.

• Ease of use:
  - simple and quick rope installation, thanks to the guide and markings,
  - ergonomically designed handle providing a good grip and excellent descent control,
  - facilitated rebelay passing, thanks to the openable mobile side plate that keeps the device connected to the harness,
  - device equipped with the Auto-Lock system, allowing the user to position themselves at the workstation without having to manipulate the handle or perform a locking hitch,
  - automatic return of the handle to the storage position when the rope is removed, reducing the risk of unintentional snagging of the descender when worn on the harness.
  
• Versatility of use:
  - two possible descent modes: on the side plate or in the V-groove, equipped with braking teeth, providing better descent control and limiting rope twisting,
  - device usable on the harness as well as at the anchor,
  - once the rope is locked, the user can make short ascents without manipulating the handle, simply by taking in the rope,
  - usable for belaying a lead climber in climbing technique.
  
• Durability and repairability:
  - protective reinforcement on the rope friction zone, protecting the mobile side plate from premature wear,
  - cam shape that improves rope pinching and thus limits device wear,
  - repairable: the cam and pin can be replaced using the repair kit (sold separately).
