Following the success of the loop hiking routes in the province of Liège featured in a first topo-guide (volume 1), the Liège team set out again to scout and capture new itineraries that make up the content of this volume 2.
These routes take you to discover: the vast fields of the Hesbaye, the Pays de Herve and Aubel, the Hautes Fagnes plateau, and the Ardenne liégeoise.
For the great pleasure of the hiker, the routes in this topo-guide do not hesitate to lead them through magnificent scenery: numerous forested massifs, deep valleys, wide open countryside, wild rivers and streams, vast panoramas, castles and typical villages.
Experienced hikers will find, in these original hikes, plenty to enjoy pleasant days out. And even less seasoned walkers, or those who wish to discover the joys of hiking without overexerting themselves, will find, thanks to the many shortcut suggestions, opportunities to tailor their outing to their own aspirations.

Each of these walks has been designed by a hiker, by one of the volunteers who maintain the waymarking of a GR® trail throughout the year — in other words, by someone who knows every last path in their region inside out.
