Lynx Leverlock Universel

Lynx LeverLock Universal (2024), by Petzl, is a versatile crampon right down to the tips!

With their modular front points, short/long mono-point, dual-point or asymmetric dual-point, the LYNX crampons adapt to all your demanding routes, from snow couloirs to ice climbing, including mixed terrain.

Their LEVERLOCK UNIVERSAL binding system allows them to fit all boots with a heel welt.

• 14-point crampons designed for ice climbing, mixed climbing, and technical mountaineering:
  - interchangeable serrated front points for excellent grip on ice and mixed terrain,
  - point configuration ensuring good stability and crampon performance in all types of ice,
  - stable support regardless of ice surface features (cauliflowers, petals), thanks to the 8 half-points, including in mono-point configuration,
  - ANTISNOW LYNX anti-balling system to limit the formation of snow clogs, regardless of snow conditions,
  - steel crampons for maximum durability,
  - only 965 g.
  
• Versatility of use:
  - front point length adjustable with a single screw (Petzl patent),
  - configured in dual-point, the crampons are easily convertible to mono-point: dual-point for snow couloirs and gullies, asymmetric dual-point for pure ice, short mono-point for ice and long for mixed,
  - LEVERLOCK UNIVERSEL binding system to fit all boots with a rear welt,
  - dual-position adjustment bars to accommodate a wide range of shoe sizes (from 37 to 49),
  - crampon length adjustment without tools.
  
• Complete modularity, thanks to the ALPEN ADAPT system:
  - front points, front blocks, bars, anti-balling system and binding system can be replaced independently,
  - FIL or FIL FLEX binding system to fit all boot fronts (with or without welts),
  - compatible with all front bindings to fit most boots with or without front welt: narrow, flexible, telemark boots, snowboard boots...
  - compatible with the KIT CORD-TEC for those prioritizing greater lightness and compactness.
