I'D L Rouge

The I'D S self-braking descender is primarily designed for work at height and difficult access situations.

It features an ergonomic handle for controlled descent. The integrated anti-panic function and error-indicator trigger reduce the risk of accidents in the event of misuse.

The AUTO-LOCK system allows you to easily position yourself at the workstation without having to manipulate the handle or perform a locking hitch. Once locked, the rope can be taken up without having to manipulate the handle.

The locking pawl allows the rope to be loaded while keeping the device connected to the harness. The I'D S is compatible with ropes from 10 to 11.5 mm and allows the handling of loads up to 250 kg.

  • easy rope loading, thanks to guides and indicator markings,
  • error-indicator trigger to limit the risk of accidents caused by incorrect rope installation,
  • ergonomic handle allowing the rope to be released and descent to be controlled comfortably. Two descent modes available: on the side plate or in the V-shaped braking groove,
  • anti-panic function that automatically stops the descent if the user pulls too hard on the handle,
  • allows smooth movement on horizontal surfaces or inclined planes,
  • AUTO-LOCK system allowing easy positioning at the workstation, without having to manipulate the handle or perform a locking hitch: as soon as the user releases the handle, the rope is automatically locked in the device. The automatic return of the handle limits the risk of unintentional snagging,
  • automatic return of the handle to the storage position when the rope is removed from the device, reducing the risk of unintentional snagging when the descender is worn on the harness.
• Versatility of use:
  • once locked, the rope can be taken in without having to manipulate the handle, making it possible to create a reversible hauling system or to easily perform short rope ascents,
  • cam that can be manipulated to easily take in slack or belay a lead climber in climbing technique,
  • screw allowing the moving side plate to be locked in order to integrate the I'D S into rescue kits,
  • possibility of adding an additional brake, open or closed, for better control of the descent depending on the load and rope diameter.
