What strikes you immediately is the quantity of forests and woods traversed. From the majestic Sonian Forest to the silent high forests of the Ardennes, passing through the numerous small woods of the Roman Pays of Brabant, the forested massifs conceal some curiosities such as the Spy Man cave or the fort of Malonne, while crossing the ridges and forested valleys of the Sambre, the Meuse, the Lesse and their tributaries.
This itinerary is never monotonous and, through the twists and turns of its meanders, leads us to discover architectural curiosities, abbeys, castles, imposing farmhouses, monuments and chapels. Remarkable sites also deserve a few stops, as much cultural as restorative: Villers-la-Ville, Namur, Dinant... and others yet to be discovered.
