The ASTRO harness is designed for rope access workers in difficult access situations.
Its design is adapted to the specific requirements of rope travel and ascent. The 3D padded foam and semi-rigid construction of the waistbelt and leg loops provide greater comfort during all phases of work.
Its openable ventral attachment point allows for optimal installation of the equipment needed for movement. Its integrated CROLL L ascender promotes
efficiency when ascending on rope.
The waistbelt, with its metal lateral attachment points, gear loops and tool holder loops, allows you to organize and carry all the equipment needed for a full day of work.
Finally, putting on the harness and making adjustments is simple and practical, even with gloves, thanks to the openable FAST buckles and
auto-locking DOUBLEBACK buckles
Main features
- Ultra comfortable construction:
- the shoulder straps are positioned away from the neck to limit friction,
- sliding straps allow for greater freedom and ease of movement,
- all contact zones, shoulder straps, waist belt and leg loops, in 3D padded foam, lined with breathable fabric,
provide greater comfort when suspended and during all working phases,
- the correct positioning and retention of the harness on the user is optimised, thanks to the waist belt and
semi-rigid leg loops,
- the metal side attachment points are foldable to prevent unintentional snagging when not in
use,
- the back of the thighs is equipped with elasticated straps (replaceable - available as an accessory) that help maintain
the correct fit, both when walking and when suspended.
- Optimal equipment integration, thanks to the openable sternal attachment point:
- the work positioning lanyard, PROGRESS ADJUST or JANE, connects directly onto the axis without a connector,
- the CROLL L chest ascender is connected directly onto the sternal attachment point for greater efficiency and
freedom of movement during rope ascents,
- connecting a seat harness, PODIUM or LITEPOD, directly onto the axis allows direct use of the descender, while
ensuring the mobility of the sternal attachment point.
- the shoulder straps are equipped, on the left, with an openable FAST buckle to facilitate donning and doffing, and, on the right,
with a DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckle, with anti-slip system, for simple and lasting adjustment,
- the waist belt is equipped with DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckles,
- the leg loops are equipped with FAST openable buckles for quick opening and closing, even with
gloves and without loss of adjustment.
- Design that facilitates carrying and organizing equipment:
- the shoulder straps are equipped with a Velcro strap adjustable in height and positionable on the right or left to hold
the ASAP'SORBER energy absorber,
- lanyard connector holders for fall arrest lanyards are installed on the shoulders,
- the waist belt is equipped with two foldable metal attachment points for connecting a double
work positioning lanyard,
- it is also equipped with seven pre-formed equipment holders with protective sheath, two loops for CARITOOL tool holders
and INTERFAST connection element and two loops for TOOLBAG tool pouches.
• In the event of a fall on the dorsal attachment point, a red indicator appears signifying that the harness must be taken out of service.
